Services Offered

  • Accessibility
    • A tourist guide led touch tours and/or verbal imaging tours must be scheduled in advance. All audio tours have been transcribed into large print format, which is available at our information desk. Some have been transcribed into braille. A portable tactile map of the museum is offered to visitors. Artworks that have accompanying audio description are indicated on the map.

  • Audiodescription
    • From the Gallery's permanent collection, 20 works of art are audio described, and are available for listening, on the audio wands (which are available with Gallery admission).

  • Community Outreach Programs
    • Arts education is offered at community centers and after-school programs throughout the city of Buffalo for inner city school age children.
